This sounds horrible, I know. But my ex is withholding things from the kids because he knows I care about those things. I’ve been trying to do it all myself for years, and I’m out of money. Can’t do it anymore.
This week I need to tell my ex that I won’t be paying school tuition next year. He can definitely pay it and I want to set this up so he thinks he’s winning if he takes it over. I really want them to stay in their schools, and he happily paid it when we were married.
Anyone ever succeeded in something similar? I’m wondering what would happen if I simply told him I was taking the kids out of school. Would he fight me and be willing to pay for it just to gain control? Some other sort of reverse psychology? Thanks.
